If your on a PPI like Prilosec (Omeprazole) by your doctor do you get lab work done every so often for checking kidney function?
i have it done for another reason- being mo nitored- and do have kidney damage- not severe yet- but enough that they have to adjust other meds-
I was going to ask about Omeprazole, as I have a prescription for that. It says to take one daily — it’s a 24-hour time-release pill. It seemed like a lot so I only take it when I know I’ll be eating something iffy that day. That includes church potlucks.
