If international travel was banned when the virus was discovered and, if they had recommended face coverings and, if they didn’t lock down the world... We would be like Japan with 125+ million people and 360 deaths.
Instead there are 50+ thousand dead in America (locked down), 20+ thousand dead in Italy and 20+ thousand dead in Spain... And the rest of the lock down countries account for most of the other covid-19 deaths.

The one thing I fault Trump with... Getting suckered into locking down states... He should have locked down Democrat states only.
