I don’t see any politicians or TV talking heads with shaggy hair. How do they get their haircuts?

The mayor of Chicago is still getting her hair cut. If you haven’t seen her comments about it, look them up. She all but says straight out “Because I’m more important than the rest of you.”

You can bet Rev Al is getting anything he wants during this “crisis.” Nothing is non-essential to the more-equal animals.

His three barbershops are taking extra safety precautions, like requiring customers to sanitize their hands, spray down in Lysol and wear disposable gloves and ponchos. Employees are wearing masks.

He has taken simple, common-sense steps to reduce the risk greatly. He might add wiping down touched surfaces regularly.

With these steps, he will be FINE. Let him and everyone else reopen immediately in such a way.

Rev. Al is an essential race-baiter and thief.

In my opinion, Al Sharpton is a liar and thief without peer along with being a parasite. If it was not serving as a bad example, his life would be worthless and useless. And he stole every cent that is in his bank account.

From the very beginning what has made sense is for people to take personal responsibility to protect themselves. If you are at risk, like I am, cut your own hair. Which I have done. If you are not at risk. Go to the barber. That’s all that has been needed.

Let them reopen anyway they wish, precautions or not. If two supposedly free people wish two engage in a tonsorial transaction then let them do so free of everyone else’s worry beads.

I’m tired of the refrain found here that it’s ok to reopen if you take certain steps. As if those steps if not taken somehow justify the suspension of our liberties.

People have been dying from their freely made choices for along time. It’s a hallmark of a free society. If you don’t like the like a “measured” don’t patronize the establishment. Stay home.

“I don’t see any politicians or TV talking heads with shaggy hair. How do they get their haircuts?”

Not to mention that the very people making these decisions are NOT depriving themselves of THEIR income.

I wonder if this business owner will begin to vote for the Rs that let him reopen his businesses rather than the Ds who wanted him to remain shut down.

My point is, he is taking these steps on his own, and they are common-sense steps, thus civil society can easily replicate this.

But how does this apply to hospitals, nursing homes for elderly, etc...? Are any extra restrictions needed for them? Especially if they are public-funded - who makes the call? That’s a problem with having government money involved in everything.

It will take time for small businesses to come back, if they are able after this capital draining event! I figure that 20% of small businesses are done.

I have spent over $20,000 in rent, in mortgages, you know, stuff like that. I applied for the SBAs, applied for the unemployment. I haven’t even received the stimulus.”

Change that $20,000 to $10k since all our yearlies came in and that’s our story. Oh we did receive $2k from the SBA EIDL the other day. What a joke!
