“Answer in as few words as possible...”

Wrong. The correct answer is one word or a note with the one word:

“lawyer.”

The money shot is when his layer said (paraphrasing) “The prosecution did not produce Brady material before because it was not asked, then did not produce it after because Flynn had pleaded guilty- And so the court has to wonder what- if anything- the FBI thought it’s Brady obligation was”

“The judge will deny the motion...”

Not likely. First Judge Sullivan came on late in the case after the guilty plea and he replaced Judge Rudy Contreras who apparently has some relationship to Peter Strzok.

Judge Sullivan has been cranky but when a US Attorney appears before him admitting a) they withheld evidence from Gen. Flynn b) they turned over said evidence c) the evidence proves Gen. Flynn was framed...

Judge Sullivan will just dismiss it and move on. He’s been handed a gold card to get out of this nightmare too.

While I agree with you, I still find it hard to believe. Are there no righteous men in DC? Sad.

In Trumps second term.........pardon Flynn and give him his intended job back........clean out the FBI with Wray being the first to go......and I hope Durham has a bunch of arrest warrants in his hands by the end of January, 2021. Start taking away security clearances from these subversives that are still walking the streets and send the Odungo’s back to Hawaii. That will get some of the stench out of WDC.....nah, a pipe dream. That place will always be a cesspool

Judge Sullivan will just dismiss it and move on. He’s been handed a gold card to get out of this nightmare too.

Judge Sullivan was deceived by the prosecutors in the Senator Stevens prosecution, and was shocked at what little he could do about it subsequently.

He has been on the warpath about “Brady warnings” ever since. Few years back, he wrote an article in The Wall Street Journal praising progress at the state level in NY State to require judges to issue Brady Warnings at the start of cases.

Issuing a Brady Warning empowers a judge to bring the hammer down (in the way you would think would be SOP) on a prosecutor who behaves like the prosecutors of Stevens, and Flynn in the current instance, did.

Somehow Judge Sullivan wasn’t able (or inclined? why?) to punish the miscreants in the Flynn case for misbehavior predating his takeover of the case and his prompt issuance of a Brady warning. Judge Sullivan got some damning info out of the prosecutors with his warning, but somehow he still sentenced Flynn severely.

So - in the immortal words of the famously combative Pepper Martin in a beer commercial - “I feel strongly both ways. I never argue.”
I hope Flynn walks now, but I fear that Trump will have to pardon him immediately after the election.

Why did Flynn hire the Covington law firm in the first place? Especially after the state of California hired the Covington firm (and Eric Holder) to attack the Trump administration just weeks before?:

https://www.mercurynews.com/2017/01/04/california-draws-a-very-big-gun-to-stand-up-to-trump-eric-holder/

Flynn’s declaration exposes the entire Covington firm to investigations for conflicts of interest, legal malpractice, mail fraud, breach of fiduciary duties to their client, and/or fraud.

Br’er rabbit.

“the answer is “Yes, approximately”. Answer in as few words as possible and DO NOT elaborate to an “Oh?” or raised eyebrows.

even better, if you’re willing to say anything at all, “I’m not sure” or “I don’t remember” are good general purpose answers as well ...

What seriously must be DONE & ENFORCED is that ALL federal LE agencies NOT engage in any conduct “which they knew or should have known” would likely get an INNOCENT person to confess to a crime that the “suspect” did NOT commit.

WHICH of our members, who are parents, would NOT confess to a crime to keep our children for being PERSECUTED, i.e., FRAMED, for crimes by the federal government??

Why did Flynn hire the Covington law firm in the first place?

Somebody told him Covington was the best law firm for FARA related matters....

Maybe, but it seems that hiring a giant politically connected lawfirm to defend a felony criminal matter, raises a red flag. You hire someone like Sidney Powell from the the get go.

My 2cents.

I doubt FARA violations were in Sidney's expertise portfolio at the time he hired Covington. I suspect her team is well versed now..

Even those replies are risky. Scooter Libby was prosecuted for not remembering the way someone else did.

Having dealt with “The Federal Bureau of INTIMIDATION” several times, I recommend that you NEVER talk to their personnel about ANY subject without an attorney at your elbow & exercise your RIGHT to “remain silent” & say NOTHING.

The FBI is VERY SKILLED at two things:
1. Protecting their agents from the consequences of their own incompetence, lack of brains & laziness
and
2. BLAMING others for the failings of the FBI’s management.

Yours, TMN78247

It’s not enough that Flynn gets cleared. Some people at the FBI need to go to jail behind this.
