President Donald Trump delivered a blistering rebuke Thursday of Gov. Brian Kemp, hours before Georgia takes a tentative first step into a world dramatically altered by a global pandemic. Trump amplified his criticism from Wednesday of Kemps decision to let businesses resume operations, beginning Friday, after being shuttered to curb the new coronavirus. Trumps condemnation of Kemp during a nationally televised White House briefing was all the more remarkable because he long had been considered the governors most important political patron.I told him very distinctly, You do what you think is best, Trump said, relating a telephone call with Kemp. But if you ask me if Im happy about it, Im not happy about it, and Im not happy about Brian Kemp.

interesting...
“He’s piling on after the comments first made Wednesday.”
I’m not sure why. Is one week that big of a deal? I’m not an “expert” so if I’m wrong about that, I’m just stupid.
There is probably that little bit more to the story than what the Urinal (and other newzak outlets) is telling people.
Not exactly a blistering rebuke. He looked cross when he said it.
Yep.
Don’t falter now, Mr. President. Except for allowing “experts” to direct public policy you’ve done exceptionally well with all of this ...
Probably?
I'd bet everything I own on it.
Something is up with this because Kemp is not the only governor talking about opening up and yet he's the only one Trump is being vocal about.
I wonder if this isn't something to keep the dems and media distracted.
While they are all obsessed with their new shiny toy, Trump is likely doing something he doesn't want the attention for.
Just my guess.
Probably doing him a favor. The fake news will deify Kemp now that they think President Trump disapproves.
Shocking! Dramatic! Unheard of!
The main point is he needs to be careful. I was very happy to go to my gym in Georgia today. Improved my mood dramatically.
Also, Rush opened his show with the very first words of “I just have to say, folks, God bless Brian Kemp. God bless him. The governor of Georgia is standing by his decision.”
Trump can’t afford to lose a portion of his base the way this is shaping up. He is getting dangerously close to a significant percentage by turning this entire thing over to the establishment deep state.
Tin foil alert. Perhaps Kemp is dirty from his appointment of Loeffler and Trump knows it?
Trump pushed hard for Collins.
First Kemp appointed Loffler to the senate over Doug Collins (you know the one who got caught trading on insider information) and now this. Id be willing to bet he got smart mouth with DJT
“He (Trump) is getting dangerously close to losing a significant percentage of his base by turning this entire thing over to the establishment deep state.”
What does this mean?
Hey, Brian...Don here.
Hey Don.
Listen Brian, I need to try to keep these media morons off my ass. I’m calling to let you know that I’ll be making some comments about you tomorrow that you and your folks won’t much like. Just know that they’re strictly for the media morons.
You OK with that?
Hell yeah. I completely understand.
Thanks man.
Later.
I’m waiting for Biteme.
It means that a lot of people are getting frustrated that after 3.5 years of fighting the swamp/deep state, he has turned the decision making for Coronavirus decisions completely over to the deep staters Fauci and Brix.
It means the OP is a retard.
My thoughts, too. This has to do with the Loffler debacle. Imo
You are so clever. At least I can do things in my state now. Enjoy your cowardly lockdown wherever you are.
