irus (COVID-19) U.S. Deaths RCP Coronavirus (COVID-19) Global Deaths

It is apparent that this COVID has been a disaster for New York but it has not been a disaster for most other states. I also think it is worth examining the seven states who do not have lockdown orders such as Nebraska and South Dakota.
The average fatality per million among these seven states is 20 versus more than a 1000 for New York. This puts the non lock down populations among the lowest fatality rates in the nation.
It has never made any sense to close flyover country sfates because Southern New York State and Northen New Jersey are suffering from something or the other.
Even Upstate New York shouldn’t have been shutdown let alone Texas.
If you listen to the leftists, these free states will be in for their peak, next week, well, maybe the week after that, etc. and it will be much worse because they didn’t lock down.
I hope and suspect they will be better off and building some form of heard immunity and avoid any theoretical “second wave.”
And that is the only hope we have for this crap to end anytime soon: people need to see that COVID is NOT a death sentence for most people, and that it isn't even a noteworthy illness for most people. They need to see other people out and about, living their lives, and NOT dropping dead on the sidewalks, "overwhelming" the medical system, etc.
Most people are simply too ignorant and servile to think for themselves, and only when the truth is staring them in the face, will they even consider it.
“It is apparent that this COVID has been a disaster for New York but it has not been a disaster for most other states.”
It’s important to note it hasn’t been a disaster for New York State either except for the NYC area, which includes adjacent counties in NJ and CT.
States is the wrong way to look at it.
The worst places are distinct urban regions such as NYC and Detroit.
The NYC disaster now encompasses the strip from Boston to DC.
As Pence has noted, we should be through the worst of it by Memorial Day - that looks about right, barring unforeseen huge breakouts. Then we might get to do it all over again come fall-winter, depending on if it makes a comeback for the flu season.

Lots of infections, but only a couple of deaths.
That’s a link, that doesn’t even work, to fake news hype
How about you explain it.
So Louie, I was wondering if you’d answer.
It’s ok, here’s the answer.
It’s the home of the Chinese meat packing plant, third largest employer in the city.
On a case level per population it’s high due to this, at the levels of Rhode Island.
At death levels it is very low, in line with most states away from eastern hotspots.
That may increase.

You don’t know how to browse online or how to go to a webpage, so therefore it must be hoax.
Nope - I certainly can’t argue with logic like that! Good luck, anyway.
Precisely
Titer testing in Washington and California and New York is showing that many more have anti bodies than the case numbers show. Hence herd immunity is already occurring. As with any winter virus sunshine and humidity will kill it off
Mid May it will be a nothing burger

By the end of May it should have quieted way down. Might see it again come flu season later on, tho.
Read 13. Lol.
Or maybe not. SARS waited ten years to return
