No Hyroxychlorquine and Z-Pack?

Then not a valid study.

I’m pretty sure they didn’t use the zinc.

In the University at Albany study, the researchers plan to analyze 1,600 Covid-19 patients divided equally into four groups:
those taking hydroxychloroquine;
those taking chloroquine, a similar drug;
those taking hydroxychloroquine along with the antibiotic azithromycin;
and those taking none of the drugs, as a comparison group.

I’m assuming Hydroxychloroquine and Hydroxychloroquine sulfate arethe same thing ?

Interesting how much leftist in the media want people to die. Someone needs to approach them publically with a document stating they refuse treatment for themselves and their family with HCQ.

No, no zinc and no AZT either- the original testable French trial drugs and dosing. No, this was hydroxychloroquine single agent. And not double blinded or placebo.

Here it the idiotic quote that sets up how “a blow to Trump” it is, to try and build up some sort of validity that is not there:

“is intended to involved some 4,000 coronavirus patients, but the preliminary results are from a sample of 600 patients.”

Sampled how? tested, how? Antibodies test or simply “infection” and no quantification of underlying conditions. Another “push study” rolled out by non-professional paid “investigators” to provide a ..... Tale, told by an Idiot, and Signifying.... Nothing.

They will never, never admit that PDJT was right about hydroxychloroquine.

When he's out of office, they'll re-write history to make him look wrong about this.

Yep. Where was the zinc. Best practices in many medical fields is an oxymoron.

I've posted a number of articles on the daily thread related to cellular depletion of zinc in metabolic syndrome.

This is a well known problem in Type 2 also. Hydroxycholoroquine and chloroquine are well know zinc ionophores.

Chloroquine Is a Zinc Ionophore

I know the proper zinc (picolinate) however I have not seen the proper dosing. Yes I know other zinc preparations have been used, however picolinate is far more bioavailable where it is needed.

If the studies (observational at best) do not include zinc, there is gross malpractice involved. Further, the publication is political and not medical. They might as well as build volcanoes for their high school science fair.

So it didn’t hurt?

Why not give it a shot?

We need a "social media check" before people are able to receive a scrip for HCQ.

Any negative comments on HCQ = No Scrip!

Correction— the AZT add on group was not for everyone in the trial... just median age of 68.

Also and this is very important: This was a self selected study of more severe cases more likely to be prescribed the drug.Thus more likely these patients were to be fatal cases regardless of the treatment. And finally the drugs weren’t administered early enough to alleviate the symptoms to result in recovery, a critical element to the French trial was its immediacy of treatment upon positive test. Early— not by the time they were symptomatically admitted to a hospital— days after they “came down” with it. Thus-— TOO damned late.

Poor trial design, selected for soon to be dead patients who could not have enough time for the therapy to slow down the internal spread of their infection. Not just my humble opinion— experts see this for what it is, political as hell.

I didn’t see a mention of zinc at all. The zinc is needed to keep the virus from replicating. Normal blood zinc levels are not enough.

A study conducted by a state-funded school gets results the state wants to see.

There’s a shocker.

Sorry government morons but the jury is already rendered it’s verdict on this and hydroxychloride works and works well

There are many other things that also work and are very inexpensive to kill viruses and bacteria among these are: Zinc , vitamin C , silver nanoparticles , High temperature ( saunas and hot tubs)

And guess what? Exercise and fresh air and sunshine are three of the very best things you can do to defeat viruses!!!

This was very clearly and technically stated at Yesterdays task force news conference. Sunshine kills this thing in seconds

Why would they leave out the name of the name of New York City Health Commissioner Oxiris Barbot in this study
from the New York City Health Dept.?
Maybe because on March 30 it was reported that de Blasio and New York City Health Commissioner Oxiris Barbot repeatedly urged citizens to go about their normal lives, as recently as a couple of weeks ago and also

Over the last two months, Oxiris Barbot, the city’s health commissioner, said that riding public transit and going out into public — including attending the Chinese Lunar New Year parade in Chinatown, were not just responsible behaviors, but would additionally help defeat anti-Asian prejudices.

“The Albany researchers found doctors were more likely to prescribe the drugs to patients who were already very sick.”

this observational “study” was designed to show failure: every doctor worth their salt knows that anti-virals are effective only when given early stages of infection, e.g., tamiflu for influenza and famciclovir for shingles ...

how come no observational studies of groups given the drugs in the early stages of infection and those not given the drugs at all?

From the start, hyrdroqualquine is supposed to be used with a zpack. By itself, it is supposed to ineffective.

First, he never said it WAS a gamechanger, he said it COULD BE.

And it isn’t a “blow” to Trump, it is a blow to AMERICA, and the WORLD, that a cheap, simple treatment might not be effective.

It’s like they WANTED it to not work, because who cares how many people die so long as Trump is wrong.
