Actually you should re-listen to what Trump actually said.
This is what Trump said:
“Is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside, or almost a cleaning? Because you see it gets inside the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs, so it would be interesting to check that.”
He didn’t say to ingest lysol orally, he was MUSING about a drug that could clean the lungs in the same manner lysol cleans up tables and surfaces of the virus. The reporters then re-interpreted it to mean that Trump is suggesting ingesting lysol itself.
Please show us where the word “Lysol” was used.
Anyone under the pressure that POTUS is under would occasionally make a rambling inarticulate statement, which he did. However, he corrected himself shortly afterward. Anyone with common sense would understand what he meant.
