The bad news is, the actual mortality rate turns out to be about 0.5% of the total number of persons afflicted with COVID-19 Wuhan virus, so the reliance on the disease to effectively remove large numbers of these recent immigrants is a very slim hope, and not to be realized.

It is the close proximity of the Somalis in their own enclaves that makes the transmission so widespread and quick to ravage the entire community. But they achieve “herd immunity” much more quickly than their Nordic neighbors.

To speculate, perhaps low exposure to sunlight and/or Vitamin D deficiency could be a contributing factor to more serious disease involving Persons of Color. In the New York City area, coronavirus appears to cause more harm to African-American and Latino populations than Asians or Caucasians.

Residence in Southern California seems to be associated with lower mortality.

Light skin produces much more Vitamin D in the scant sunlight of northern climates. Couple this with the “sweet spot” of this virus as to temperature and humidity and you get “Blacks and browns hit hardest”.

A week ago or so, the Boston Globe literally headlined: "The Risk Factor for COVID is Living in a Racist Country".

This is not a debate and these are not arguments These are simply blood libels against white people in an attempt to hurt them, displace them, and to create conditions in the future to make their elimination possible.

Treat them for what they are, and do not imagine that appeals to the "facts" as you see them will be effective, the politicians who are fanning these flames, as you correctly put it, already know the facts.
