It sounds like the administration has had issues with his administrative style. The guy joined BARDA during the Obama years, back in 2010.

This is the same old boring playbook. In the middle of a pandemic.

The Democrats will stop at nothing, including destroying the economy and letting Americans suffer & die (hello unnecessary legislative delays!), to get rid of Trump.

His choice of lawyers was sort of a clue.

Fauci also refused to suggest where Bright's "gifts" (reporter's term) are best suited, at BARDA or over at NIH in the new capacity. Bright's been at BARDA since 2010.

BARDA didn’t make what’s known as a broad agency announcement to solicit potential investments in diagnostics, vaccines or treatments until March, five weeks after HHS Secretary Alex Azar declared a public health emergency over the Covid-19 outbreak.

That's from Politico. Sounds like he was slow to react (he wasn't on "Trump time") and someone had enough.

This has absolutely nothing to do with the President. My gut says Fauci did this guy in as he didn’t like the competition and Bright refused to KHA.

Someone fired him.

It wasn’t Trump. It was his immediate supervisor.

Who had a good reason and it wasn’t the doctor’s opinion on HCQ.

Exactly. He was not fired. He was reassigned.

He ought to have been fired, really.

Bright just funneled money redundantly to big pharmaceutical companies, did not fund innovation from smaller companies, which BARDA is supposed to do and in doing so over funded his infectious disease department to the detriment of chemical, radiological and nuclear countermeasures.

Swamp creature.

Looks like what the millennials call a “Simp”. A beta male with effeminate features. He walks subservient to women and with his low-t personality spends his time embroiled in drama and women like pursuits of gossip and complaining. He does for this all for 2 minutes of premature ejaculatory sex with his woman her refers to as “The Boss” or “His Queen”

As Paul Harvey used to say: And Now, The test of the story:

But, like all stories that appear in the Times and other mainstream outlets, it’s always best to give them a few hours. In this case, it didn’t take long for the real story to start coming out and you’ll be shocked to learn that Haberman’s original piece was completely wrong.

For example, Bright himself requested the FDA give emergency approval for hydroxychloroquine.

snip

Not only was Bright not fired for anything to do with hydroxychloroquine, his ouster has been in the making long before anyone was even concerned with the Wuhan virus. Apparently, Bright has a history of insubordination and believing he has more authority than he does. Knowing that he was going to be fired anyway, he’s now spinning a fake narrative that he was simply a hero trying to save lives.

Snip

He does indeed have an Alex Baldwin resemblance. Though Baldwin looks more menacing.

<>including chloroquine, a drug promoted by the administration as a panacea, but which is untested and possibly deadly when used improperly,...

What drug *isn't* dangerous when used improperly?
