Responsible, civic-minded, moral people will wear a mask because it’s the right thing to do. Masks (mostly) protect other people. You wear your mask to protect others, and others wear those to protect you. Read Mark 12:31 to understand why that’s important.
Moral people understand that it is their responsibility to prove (at least to themselves) they don’t have the virus; or else to act as if they did and wear the mask. Consider the spread of HIV/AIDS, if you still don’t understand why you could not be more wrong about this.

A healthy person wearing a mask projects fear. In a state whereas there is no justification whatsoever for such compelled actions, it’s a slippery slope of tyranny borne of those who see this ‘crisis’ as a “tremendous opportunity”.
Notably, in addition to fear, it also projects incredible ignorance:
An airborne virus 80-120 nm in size cannot be stopped by a piece of cloth, let alone a surgical mask which is not sealed to the face like a good quality N95 or better.
Worse, in spite of there being ‘medical grade’ N95 masks, there is NO MASK ON THE PLANET which is biological-certified for airborne virus. The best there is to this level are “CDC guidelines for Mycobacterium tuberculosis exposure control”...a bacterium MUCH LARGER than coronavirus (2000-4000% larger!). This is why there are BSL levels of safety for research which include full isolation.
Worse still is the logic of those who project such fear on others.

I could argue that point in defense of not wearing a mask, yet the fearful among us will always leap to the logical fallacy like Cuomo did the other day when attacking the ‘liberate’ protests: Not wearing a mask - just like ending the lockdown - means illness (or death) to others.
Really? Well when the logical fallacy is applied to abortionists, it could be said that an abortionist is party to a conspiracy to premeditated murder of someone’s mother or father and, on that basis, I’d be justified to take them out RIGHT NOW just for supporting abortion (for the benefit of others who want to apply this logic to hysterical liberals supporting draconian, unjustified rules like this).
I could also argue against the imposition of your logic, which from your standpoint you presume a biblical interpretation prescribes that I treat you (my neighbor) equally as you would do to be (wear a mask), yet the very act of supporting a compelled act without justification other than fear is tyranny and, using your logic, you now fall under the definition of ‘domestic enemy’.

How you behave "socially responsible" when outdoors (that is, when you're not in a densely packed environment like on a bus or in a subway car) is to maintain the [anti]-social two-yard distance from every other human being you encounter and, MOST IMPORTANT, don't go the f*ck outside if you're sick ... whether or not you're wearing a G-D mask or if you're still terrorized by this virus! Just stay home and stop making your town look like an infirmary in some third-world fauci-hole of a country or like an antifa convention is in town by pushing these masks! Got it?! It's really not that hard to understand.

Although you did not -- and I expect would not -- ask for it I cannot help feeling pity for you. That even though you have, as have we all, seen first-hand the ugly face of tyranny (fortunately limited in scope due to the nature of the mediocre politicians who, drunk with their self-anointed vast new powers and driven by their larger-than-life egos, have been only marginally, and I expect temporarily once men recover from their fear-induced mental paralysis, effective) you remain committed to the Leftist secular theology that life can be made completely safe if only we would listen to the "right" politicians and to all those "experts" who have only our "best interests at heart" and who are "doing these things for our own good". Well, from what I've witnessed over the past few weeks I don't believe a word they say ... I form my opinions based only on their actions and the results of their actions.
So while my heart feels pity, my mind knows that this cannot ever be allowed to happen again in America. I care not one whit about what people on the Left and what people in other countries think of me, of other patriotic Americans or of America.
