Las Vegas Mayor Has an Odd Suggestion About Reopening Sin City

I doubt the rich enjoyed the depression in the 1930s, sure I imagine a few folks gained but by and large everyone suffered.

The origin of the Pritzker family’s wealth was the downtown Chicago property purchased by the great-great grandfather immediately after the Chicago Fire.

I’m sure similar transfers of wealth took place in the 1930s.

Labor and food and property and stocks were cheap. Anyone with cash was in a great position: Cash is king, remember.

People took government jobs, which was the basis of the bureaucratic state and the present-day prog party. I remember asking my mother about the stories of government-forced crop/livestock destruction in the Depression. I wanted to know why there was animosity among the urban working class towards farmers when it seemed to me they suffered, too. She said:”At least they had food.” So, the urban-rural divisions were being stoked way back then.

I saw a video a year or so ago, where a Dutch banker revealed the financial machinations behind the international Deep State. One line remains:”Every human misery is someone else’s business plan.” (paraphrased)
