California Governor Gavin Newsom announced Wednesday that his state will be reopened to business activity slowly but that now is not the time.

Still, businesses in four southern California counties have begun declaring independence from the Wuhan virus and from Newsom.

Golf courses in Riverside, Ventura County, will begin allowing golfers to head back out to the course this weekend. Orange County will open golf courses soon. Golfers will play in foursomes and adhere to social distancing. No food will be served on the premises. Ventura County, home to Simi Valley, Oxnard, and Camarillo, has pronounced that gatherings of four or more in one place are illegal. Exercising will be allowed outside, however. Riverside County has ordered golfers to wear face masks. No caddies are allowed and only one person is allowed to be in a golf cart.

Golf courses and cemeteries are the dumbest waste of real estate and water. But not in that order.

Some news guy was interviewing a homeless guy (maybe from ten days ago), and the homeless guy knew next to nothing over the virus, or any ban-chatter from the governor.

“Golf courses and cemeteries are the dumbest waste of real estate and water.”

In many places, these are the only green place there are. Without them, the heat island effects would be unbearable.

The dumbest wastes of real estate are the house farms where perfectly good bottom land has been used for growing worthless people.

Places, even in Florida, need to outsource cemeteries to other counties. Florida has 1250+ golf courses, water availability in decline.

Here is SO CAL. we have had a very cool and wet March and April, it has been good for the virus yet good for crowd control. That is about to change with temperatures headed into the 80’s and even 90’s in some of the region. Bad for the virus (good!) and bad for law enforcement... this weekend you may see a “breakout” from the “lockdown”.

That is illegal on the face of it.

We used to live in Simi. Our (former) church has been hit hard by this WuFlu, and it looks like it’ll get worse before it gets better. I feel so sorry for them.
