The University of Louisville announced a coronavirus “breakthrough” Wednesday that even University of Kentucky fans can get behind.

The school said researchers have developed technology that it believes will block coronavirus from infecting human cells. It is seeking fast-track development for the new technology and has applied to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for testing approval.

Let’s see some decades of testing if it is a new technology.

Proposes to supply artificial DNA to humans to block receptor sites. Personally, not enthusiastic about being injected with synthetic DNA created by...well who knows who is really behind that technology. :/

I'm getting the impression who's behind synthetic DNA....

“DNA is like a computer program but far, far more advanced than any software ever created.” Bill Gates wrote this in 1995, long before synthetic biology – a scientific discipline focused on reading, writing, and editing DNA – was being harnessed to program living cells.Sep 14, 2019

Isn’t this what the movie “I Am Legend” is based on?

Bill Gates, Eric Schmidt and other equally untrustworthy peeps are being "sythetic biology" technology...why?

Eric Schmidt (Google),
Peter Thiel (PayPal),
Vinod Khosla (Sun Microsystems),
Marc Andreessen (Netscape),
Jerry Yang (Yahoo!),
Bill Gates (Microsoft),
Bryan Johnson (Venmo),
and Max Levchin (PayPal),

I don’t want these people developing products to manipulate human DNA.

There’s a reason why those receptor sites exist, and messing around with gene-based blockers is probably not a wise thing to do.

But the troubling little line:

The university is asking for donations to fund its research.

If there was something in it, they would be flooded with venture capital money. They wouldn't have to ask for donations.

Application of Aptamers in Virus Detection and Antiviral Therapy, Frontiers in Microbiology, 03 July 2019

1 Department of Laboratory Medicine, The Affiliated People's Hospital, Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang, China
2 Jiangsu Key Laboratory of Laboratory Medicine, Department of Immunology, School of Medicine, Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang, China

Similar to antibodies, aptamers bind specifically to their targets. However, compared with antibody, aptamers are easy to synthesize and modify and can bind to a broad range of targets. Thus, aptamers are promising for detecting viruses and treating viral infections. In this review, we briefly introduce aptamer-based biosensors (aptasensors) and describe their applications in rapid detection of viruses and as antiviral agents in treating infections. We summarize available data about the use of aptamers to detect and inhibit viruses. Furthermore, for the first time, we list aptamers specific to different viruses that have been screened out but have not yet been used for detecting viruses or treating viral infections. Finally, we analyze barriers and developing perspectives in the application of aptamer-based virus detection and therapeutics.

Serious question for FR microbiologists and doctors. Do you need to deliver these substances to every cell in your body? Or can you selectively deliver them to those particular cells that are susceptible to a particular viral infection? How can you deliver enough of these substances and get them distributed to all cells that need them? Are there negative effects of having these agents bind to receptors on cells? Are those receptor sites temporarily knocked out or knocked out for a long term?

Eventually a real “Beast” is coming out of all of this. The Beast of Revelation may just be that, literal.

Change our DNA and the Blood of Jesus may not cleanse our sins. Could be why the Bible says that anyone who takes the mark of the Beast will NOT be saved. Neither can the Angel/Human hybrids who are awaiting Judgement.
