Dr. Didier Raoult seems to be the current world authority in using HCQ+AZ to treat COVID-19. Since his widely publicized first study describing his success with the drug combo, Dr. Raoult has continued to treat patients, and has produced two additional studies. As of today, 3,039 COVID-19 patients have been treated at Dr. Raoult's institute. Among patients who received the drug combo for more than three days, there have been only 12 deaths. That is a statistic that the MSM seems determined to ignore.
Dr. Raoult has obtained excellent results with thousands of patients, while the VA doctors obtained poor results with a small number of patients. He is the ideal person to tell them what they did wrong:
These differences are most likely related to the fact that the patients had been intubated for some before receiving hydroxychloroquine in desperation. It is notable that this is unreasonable at the time of the cytokine storm, as it is unlikely that hydrochloroquine alone would be able to control patients at this stage of the disease.
Makes perfect sense. Don't use HCQ+AZ as a last resort! Start treatment early!
Here's the MSM's ideal hydroxychloroquine study: Administer HCQ+AZ ten minutes before patients are expected to die, then report that the drug combo failed to stop the deaths.
To their credit, the VA study's authors admitted that the increased case fatality rate among patients receiving HCQ was due to the severity of their disease, not the use of HCQ:
However, hydroxychloroquine, with or without azithromycin, was more likely to be prescribed to patients with more severe disease, as assessed by baseline ventilatory status and metabolic and hematologic parameters. Thus, as expected, increased mortality was observed in patients treated with hydroxychloroquine, both with and without azithromycin.The MSM has ignored the above paragraph, so that Trump's HCQ could be blamed for the increased mortality.

Great rebuttal that explains how barbarian people hope they can cause enough people to die to achieve a political purpose. I have wondered, when I saw this anti-HCQ story, what the sample census was... in the face of thousands of successes!
You will remember, Steven W., my writing about the combination of HCQ and azythromycin. They each treat a different infective agent, one an antiviral and one an antibiotic. One obvious error highlighted in the story is to paint azithromycin as a cure for a virus; highly unlikely AND that would certainly require a sizeable doubleblind study over time. Naturally many people would die in the nonce - which seems to be the motive of the naysayers.
What kind of people are these? The initial joke of Trump Derangement Syndrome is turning out to be a clinical reality.

Lisa H. Barsoomian, an Attorney that graduated
from Georgetown Law, is a protégé of James Comey and
Robert Mueller.
Barsoomian, with her boss R. Craig Lawrence,
represented Bill Clinton in 1998.
Lawrence also represented:

James Comey five times;
Barack Obama 45 times;
Kathleen Sebelius 56 times;

You may be saying to yourself, OK, who cares? Who
cares about the work history of this Barsoomian woman?
Apparently, someone does, because someone out
there cares so much that they’ve “purged” all
Barsoomian court documents for her Clinton
representation in Hamburg vs. Clinton in 1998 and its
appeal in 1999 from the DC District and Appeals Court
dockets (?). Someone out there cares so much that
even the internet has been “purged” of all
information pertaining to Barsoomian.
Historically, this indicates that the individual
is a protected CIA operative. Additionally, Lisa
Barsoomian has specialized in opposing Freedom of
Information Act requests on behalf of the
intelligence community. Although Barsoomian has been
involved in hundreds of cases representing the DC
Office of the US Attorney, her email address is Lisa
Barsoomian@NIH.gov. The NIH stands for National
Institutes of Health. This is a tactic routinely used
by the CIA to protect an operative by using another
government organization to shield their activities.
It’s a cover, so big deal right? What does one
more attorney with ties to the US intelligence
community really matter?
It deals with Trump and his recent tariffs on
Chinese steel and aluminum imports, the border wall,
DACA, everything coming out of California, the
Uni-party unrelenting opposition to President Trump,
the Clapper leaks, the Comey leaks, Attorney General
Jeff Sessions recusal and subsequent 14 month nap
with occasional forays into the marijuana
legalization mix …. and last but not least Mueller’s
never-ending investigation into collusion between the
Trump team and the Russians.
Why does Barsoomian, CIA operative, merit any
mention?

Three U.S. Airports to Check Passengers for a Deadly Chinese Coronavirus
Passengers from Wuhan, China, will be screened at J.F.K. beginning Friday night, and in San Francisco and Los Angeles starting on Saturday.
“This is a serious situation,” Dr. Nancy Messonnier, the director of the National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases, said at a news briefing. “We know it is crucial to be proactive and prepared.”
But while there will probably be cases in the United States at some point, “we believe the current risk from the virus to the general public is low,” she added.

CTH: Earlier today Dr. Nancy Messonnier, an official in the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), held a conference call with media and pushed a panic narrative around the Coronvirus that ran counter to the Trump administration.
What makes the statements by Dr. Messonnier even more interesting is the fact she is the only sister of former DOJ Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
Dr. Messonnier, director of the CDC’s National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases (link) told reporters on the call:
“We are asking the American public to work with us to prepare for the expectation that this could be bad.” … “I understand this whole situation may seem overwhelming and that disruption to everyday life may be severe. But these are things that people need to start thinking about now.” (link)
...and function as part of the immune system. I hope the CDC does broad testing for antibodies. I think it will show the virus arrived here earlier than we thought - in other words there is a much higher infection rate than currently documented; IOW the death rate is much lower than currently documented; IOW this economic shutdown is a stab at the great Trump economy and another attempt to overthrow our democratic republic.

Yes, this was reviewed last week and it was clear the ‘study’ was rigged for failure.
In the US, trials and studies are approved for funding by Fauci. Funding is implemented using federal account charge codes that hospitals and clinics can charge against. The codes are accompanied by referenced protocols to be carried out.
So the funding source also passes on the protocols (procedures and conditions).
The protocols are flawed and are written to skew toward deaths and mixed results.
This isn’t the only study/trial where results are rigged by protocol to discredit HCQ.
Also, most of them use the phrase "touted by President Donald Trump"
The collusion is Alice-in-Wonderland level incredible. The conspirators are evil, yet I'm sure they tell themselves that what they publish is righteous and for the greater good.

I hope that this trial did not involve using HCQ+AZ only on hospitalized patients with advanced disease.
.In the University at Albany study, the researchers plan to analyze 1,600 Covid-19 patients divided equally into four groups: those taking hydroxychloroquine; those taking chloroquine, a similar drug; those taking hydroxychloroquine along with the antibiotic azithromycin; and those taking none of the drugs, as a comparison group.
It is an observational study looking back at patients’ hospitalizations, not a randomized clinical trial.
