the antibiotic is just incase some infections crop up during the battle- it doesn’t really do anything other than combat anything that crops up while a person is being treated- like pneumonia or bronchial infection

I've read where other antibiotics were substituted. The antibiotics I believe are for secondary infections, so it would seem any one should work.
