This one is a baby bird farm. The USS America is a “dead end” design. No more made in that class due to the design not having a well deck.
USS America appears to be 31st MEU which finished up in Thailand ops (Cobra Gold 2020) mid March.

They build 1 more without the well deck — USS Tripoli LHA-7. I don’t believe she’s in commission yet. LHA-8, USS Bouganville, will have a well-deck and she’s in an advanced state of construction.
