Dallas County extended its coronavirus pandemic stay-at-home order through May 15, two weeks beyond the statewide order from Gov. Greg Abbott.
Tuesdays 3-2 vote by county commissioners could be overruled by Abbott. Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins, who cast one of the three votes to extend the order, said hell leave it up to the state to decide.

We should trade Dallas, Austin & Houston to California in exchange for the “State of Jefferson”.
That would balance out things a bit and stave off Texas’ fade to blue

We’re getting a great A/B test for policies with Dallas county’s over-reach, because Fort Worth is nowhere near as strict.

It is mostly Clay Jenkins over-reach.
He probably is just posturing for the anti-Trump proglib vote.

Dallas hospitals have plenty of beds. Not in crisis at all, never has been. The overreach is astounding.
And this is one, among many, reasons I made sure that when we bought our house, it was on the Rockwall County side of the road!
