The IRS has made direct deposits into my bank account before. Why can't they do this now? I have the same bank account.
And I have never received anything from SSA. I'm 56 and I've never had any interaction with the SSA.
It’s understandable if you understand computers, programmers and most especially .. Government programmers.
All I can say is that even small changes within how monies are dispersed will throw everything or everyone in the different government departments into a panic!
Things get rearranged, get lost or just plain get overlooked.
