Here’s Exactly When You’ll Get Your Stimulus Check (BY MAIL with Prayers)
forbes ^ | april 21, 2020 | zack friedman

The IRS is now sending paper stimulus checks, and plans to send approximately 5 million paper checks each week. The order of stimulus checks is not random or based on geography. The IRS will send checks starting with taxpayers who have the lowest annual adjusted gross income as reported on their 2018 or 2019 tax return, whichever is more recent. Here is the planned weekly schedule for the IRS to mail stimulus checks based on annual adjusted gross income, as first reported by The Washington Post. All dates represent the “week ending” (for example, the week ending April 24) and the IRS could change this schedule at any time.

Less than $10,000: April 24 $10,001 - $20,000: May 1 $20,001 - $30,000: May 8 $30,001 - $40,000: May 15 $40,001 - $50,000: May 22 $50,001 - $60,000: May 29 $60,001 - $70,000: June 5 $70,001 - $80,000: June 12 $80,001 - $90,000: June 19 $90,001 - $100,000: June 26 $100,001 - $110,000: July 3 $110,001 - $120,000: July 10 $120,001 - $130,000: July 17

Niece is on DSSI, in the middle of a frozen divorce, ex-con never told her till after marriage. 2 Kids 14, 15 in July is beat by the Piece of crap DOPE ADDICT/BOOZE. He took every dime of last year’s tax check leaving her penniless. DSSI off a min wage job won’t pay utilities.

HE wrecked his truck DUI, 2nd 1, tried to take her van, he has a work truck.

Now he’s FALSELY filed jointly and took the $3,400 STIMULUS. She turned him in to IRS, half is hers + 1 child.

Teen has DUCHENNE’S MD Life expectancy maybe 30-35. She won’t make more than 5-7 yrs. He should already be on DSSI. Takes a butcher knife he sneaks out of kitchen draw to bed with him. PIECE OF CRAP IS STALKING THEM.

Thankfully I got her to do a PA for medical/financial for her parents. Restraining order a worthless piece of paper ran out the day DHS was brought in, lawyer quit, no refund, they scatter like roaches when you mention DHS. Thank God she has her dad’s 9 mm Glock, no CCW.

We’re in a category that no one mentions so we have no idea how or when our partial payment will show up. Both on SS but both have retirement income so when we file taxes every year we owe and send the IRS money. So the IRS has no direct deposit info for us but SS is direct deposited. Will it be dd because of SS or a check because of IRS? 🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤦‍♀️

SSI is for people with low income
SSDI is for people on disability
SS is for people on social security

We’re in the same boat except we have income as well as direct deposit SS. We owe every year so we never get a refund; therefore, the IRS doesn’t have our bank info. I keep hearing we don’t have to do anything, we’ll get our checks automatically per DD. Then I read here that it’s being mailed to us based on our income. WTF? That doesn’t sound like we’re gonna get it DD, no problem. Thank God my husband is getting unemployment or we’d be starving!

Three of our kids moved out the same year and I forgot to adjust the exemptions, so in 2018, we wrote a pretty big check. Because of that, we have to wait for a paper check.

It isn’t a big deal, although I know some folks in dire straits who are stressing.

We filed & are on SS. Got a refund. Even though I finally retired in March, I did have reportable income for 2020, and so have 4 small quarterly payments. We made the first one on time.

SS goes Direct Deposit.
But, IRS informed us the credit union we use “couldn’t complete the transaction” for our income tax refund and so, they sent us a check. It took 6 weeks from date of filing.

That’s fine. This one will go out early next week, according to the guidelines by AGI. For us, luckily, it’s not a problem. If we hadn’t closed on our property in March, we would also be stressing, so no crit of anyone else.

First time in nearly 50 years we are not homeowners. Our buyers are stuck in Cook County shutdown and dealing with a serious medical situation. We are essentially managing the property for them in lieu of rent until we find one and move. We will need to do the moving ourselves if this shutdown continues past our own purchase. Difficult to see a property that is occupied, although we did manage one. The rest have been empty. My husband, whom I affectionately refer to as Eeyore, considers us *homeless*. LOL!

The paper check will spend. People are too accustomed to instant everything.

Yep! We’re not hurting or need it right now. I’d just like to know how we’ll receive it and when. There are a couple of purchases I have planned for part of it.

Is everyone who is eligible supposed to receive $1200? My sister is eligible, but she got $1166, short $34. I’m trying to figure it out.
