The IRS is now sending paper stimulus checks, and plans to send approximately 5 million paper checks each week. The order of stimulus checks is not random or based on geography. The IRS will send checks starting with taxpayers who have the lowest annual adjusted gross income as reported on their 2018 or 2019 tax return, whichever is more recent. Here is the planned weekly schedule for the IRS to mail stimulus checks based on annual adjusted gross income, as first reported by The Washington Post. All dates represent the “week ending” (for example, the week ending April 24) and the IRS could change this schedule at any time.
Less than $10,000: April 24 $10,001 - $20,000: May 1 $20,001 - $30,000: May 8 $30,001 - $40,000: May 15 $40,001 - $50,000: May 22 $50,001 - $60,000: May 29 $60,001 - $70,000: June 5 $70,001 - $80,000: June 12 $80,001 - $90,000: June 19 $90,001 - $100,000: June 26 $100,001 - $110,000: July 3 $110,001 - $120,000: July 10 $120,001 - $130,000: July 17

I thought you didn’t get one if you made more than $90k, or something like that.
I have an adult dtr who was on disability SS and now I think is on regular SS....we still claim her.....does she get a check?
If you claim her as a dependent, then you should get it I believe.
They sent mine via direct deposit to a bank account I closed a year ago, even though I’d already filed my tax return with the correct information. I have no idea when or if they’ll discover their error and send a paper check.
Was that to me? My husband died in 2018 and that would be the year I last filed. On top of the return it says deceased. His SS number was listed first and I think that is what is holding it up. There is nobody to call.. just have to wait. I am saying I just don’t think I am ever going to get it.

If the article is correct, there is a timetable depending on how much you made last year. I changed addresses and had to send a letter form to the IRS in March, plus USPS address change as well. The portal didnt work for me even though I filed 2018.

Who is eligible:
Single filers who earned less than $75,000 in AGI (adjusted gross income)
Head-of-household filers who earned less than $112,500 in AGI
Married filing jointly with less than $150,000 in AGI
I didn’t even want it, if it gets here, it gets here.
Don’t quote me, but I think it is only for those that can’t be claimed on someone else’s taxes, and children 17 and under who get $500.

We may not be allowed to celebrate Christmas.
I have the same address, but according to the IRS they sent the check to the bank so as far as they’re concerned it’s done. Meanwhile the bank said talk to the IRS.
