The IRS is now sending paper stimulus checks, and plans to send approximately 5 million paper checks each week. The order of stimulus checks is not random or based on geography. The IRS will send checks starting with taxpayers who have the lowest annual adjusted gross income as reported on their 2018 or 2019 tax return, whichever is more recent. Here is the planned weekly schedule for the IRS to mail stimulus checks based on annual adjusted gross income, as first reported by The Washington Post. All dates represent the “week ending” (for example, the week ending April 24) and the IRS could change this schedule at any time.
Less than $10,000: April 24 $10,001 - $20,000: May 1 $20,001 - $30,000: May 8 $30,001 - $40,000: May 15 $40,001 - $50,000: May 22 $50,001 - $60,000: May 29 $60,001 - $70,000: June 5 $70,001 - $80,000: June 12 $80,001 - $90,000: June 19 $90,001 - $100,000: June 26 $100,001 - $110,000: July 3 $110,001 - $120,000: July 10 $120,001 - $130,000: July 17

I am 80 years old, on social security direct deposit to my bank, that and 30% disability from VA are my only source of income. I have not received a stimulus check, and at this point I am not expecting one. I keep getting text messages from the Trump and RNC to donate money for the next election, but at this time I am hanging on to every penny I have as these are very perilous times.

You’ll get it. This is just a new thing for a government That is slow slow slow. You weren’t in the first batch..but according to an article I just read, SSI people are going to get paid this week.
are Turbo Tax filers getting a paper check? Heard there was a 3rd party glitch and a few of my single filing family members haven’t got theirs yet.
If you have a grandchild you could invest it for them. They’re signing the note, it’s their money.

SSI is for people on social security disability, I am on social security.

Chase has a LONG speech when you call their phone line about the stimulus check and I just want to check my balance by phone system.
Turbo Tax weeks ago offered their own portal with the IRS before the IRS did it. tried it and found out it was for non-filers like SS etc.

Well,we can hold the check in one hand and eat ice cream in the other and pontificate if this was all worth it.

SSI is a totally separate program. It is “needs based” and does not come from the Social Security trust fund. We still pay for it, just a different way.

My wife’s friend had that happen when she filed last year for 2018. The deposit was refused by the bank and the IRS sent her a paper copy check that arrived about 6 weeks later.
So, you haven’t got yours either?
