Exactly. China was lost in WWII, not Korea.

That said, Korea War started becuase of Truman Admin’s weakness and failure to diplomatically stand behind SK. The Soviets thus gave the Norks the green light.

So much could have been avoided in 1945-48. So much.

How I know this is because my father was a USMC BAR rifleman and was part of the troops that went into China near the end of WWII. He saw the overthrow happening with his own eyes, even had pictures from back then. Over the years, he told us a thousand times that it could have been stopped dead in its tracks IF they had been allowed to do so.
Now look what we have today.... Yes, so much could have been totally avoided.
