WW2 got its start at the signing of the Versailles treaty in Europe
In Japan, it started when FDR started to stop trade with Japan because of what Japan was doing in China.
So the Japanese history is closer than the Euro history. Although, I guess, one could call this thing with the Red Chinese a mix of the two if this goes forward. They wont, and Red China knows it.
The best thing we could do, is cause a rebellion in Red China and let them solve the problem.
