This is from McMaster's soon to be released book, - Battlegrounds: The Fight to Defend the Free World .

It should be required reading for all government workers, all business owners & CEO's doing business in China, and anyone who wants a scary look at what China is really doing & what it really wants.

It’s a good article except for the very end where he calls for more visas etc... for Chinese in America. I guess he is trying to remain viable for some future administration.

One day we’ll actually understand the evil that lurks behind the innocuous wish that China, or any other Third World country “open her markets”. Something to do with “money” markets and borrowing and manufacture. China is self sufficient in raw materials, just like the US colonies were self sufficient in raw materials. That worries the globalist banking elite who don’t like it when countries don’t come crawling to them for loans to build infrastructure or compensate for manipulated commodity prices.

McMaster is an idiot who should have never been allowed more than running a tank battalion. He’s right about the Chinese worldview. But his idiotic conclusion is to bring more Chinese into America. Of course with the obligatory “carefully vetted” disclaimer.

This damned traitor screwed and resisted President Trump all he could. Eff him.

A must read article...thanks for posting it.

“Our last meeting of the state visit, in the Great Hall of the People, was with Li Keqiang, the premier of the State Council and the titular head of China’s government. If anyone in the American group had any doubts about China’s view of its relationship with the United States, Li’s monologue would have removed them. He began with the observation that China, having already developed its industrial and technological base, no longer needed the United States. He dismissed U.S. concerns over unfair trade and economic practices, indicating that the U.S. role in the future global economy would merely be to provide China with raw materials, agricultural products, and energy to fuel its production of the world’s cutting-edge industrial and consumer products.”

In 2014 and then again in 2017, the party declared that all Chinese companies must collaborate in gathering intelligence. “Any organization or citizen,” reads Article 7 of China’s National Intelligence Law, “shall support, assist with, and collaborate with the state intelligence work in accordance with the law, and keep the secrets of the national intelligence work known to the public.”

How does any publicly traded US company justify having anybody employed that is a Chinese national?

They are by definition spies - why hire people who are known spies?

Weird that the Atlantic would publish this.

They are far left anti-Trump.

It's an ok read, it's nothing that hasn't been said better right here by one particular Freeper. (Not me, I learn a lot in these threads)

McMananus is trying to sound hawkish to provide some DNI cover for any potential-not-really Democrat Administration, but of course he doesn't mean it. And he bumped out at Lt. Gen. despite legit combat Silver Star brilliance for 73 Easting, which says something too.

Hillary Clinton’s Emails Were Sent to Gmail Address With a Chinese Company’s Name The Epoch Times ^ | 08-15-19 | IVAN PENTCHOUKOV
FR Posted on 8/15/2019, 1:09:29 PM by Monrose72

All but four of the 30,490 emails from Hillary Clinton’s unauthorized email server were forwarded to a private Google email address featuring the name of a Chinese company, according to documents released on Aug. 15.

Virtually every email which was sent to and received on the Clinton server was forwarded to “carterheavyindustries@gmail.com,” the documents (pdf) show. Frank Rucker, the intelligence community inspector general (ICIG) investigator who spotted the anomaly, searched Google for “Carter Heavy Industries” and came up with results for Shandong Carter Heavy Industry Co., Ltd, a Chinese manufacturer of excavators and heavy machinery, according to the documents. (Excerpt) Read more at theepochtimes.com ...

He took charge of Hillary’s emails, but Paul Cambetta of Platte River Networks says he created the carterheavyindustries email address as a dummy used to transfer from Hillary’s second server to the one they were setting up.

He claims no knowledge of the Chinese company with a similar name and offers no explanation of why he used it. The Obama FBI and DoJ IG found that to be enough, since there wasn’t a spread of evidence left after Hillary destroyed the equipment.

Question for computer experts:
<><>why would you create an email address and burrow it into a server to transfer existing data into a new server?
<><>Wouldn’t there be straightforward ways to do that, such as copying a backup file onto a USB device?
<><>Why would you leave it on auto forward forever on the “new” server, if the point was to copy out the old server, and presumably shut it down?

The explanation sounds like a complete pack of lies, though the Chinese angle is headline hype.

Thanks! A good compilation of facts and Chicom strategies over the years that, when taken individually, is cause for little concern. The Chicoms have used every one of our freedoms and free enterprise rules against us to get the upper hand. Can you believe that the WTO considers China a third world developing country?

Either we wake up now or we'll see a new and different tomorrow.

Chinese dynasties had long stood at the center of the Earth.

They didn't. Or to put it another way, they did so only by defining themselves as the Earth. That's an admission of weakness, not an assertion of strength. Suck it, Xi.
