Europe as a whole is indicating a much worse mentality rate that the US as a whole.

Why is NYC such a glaring stand-out and also much more similar than the mortality rate of Europe?

Because of the vast, Third World population that has been imported to live amongst the natives. And these Third Worlders with marginal sanitation habits staff our nursing homes, clean up our hospitals, and ride our public transportation with improperly washed hands daily.

Other cities may have as many Third Worlders, but are less dense and rely far less on public transportation.

Because NYC is full of old buildings with narrow hallways, small rooms, small, crowded grocery stores, narrow subway platforms, and cramped elevators, just like Europe. You cannot avoid being close to strangers in those places.
