You do have to leave the area while they are running.
Ours cost $90 and is 75 watts. Overnight, it can treat 850 sq feet to the extent that it kills mice and bats.
One article advised to let in some outside air so there is more oxygen to convert to ozone.
We just move it around during the week and turn it on when leave an area.
Do you know that will have that effect? I know it will kill bacteria.
