Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows frequently cries at work: report (Huh?)
New York Post ^ | April 18, 2020 | Jon Levine

White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows

Nobody said the job was easy.

Former North Carolina Congressman Mark Meadows, just weeks on the job as President Trump’s chief of staff, has already been brought to tears at work on several occasions, according to a report in the New York Times.

The waterworks took place at least twice during meetings with White House staff and in at least one case was witnessed by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner. The burst of emotions resulted from meetings discussing internal staffing changes.

Though he was long known for an emotional style in Congress, reps for the White House denied Meadows had shed any tears since coming to the West Wing.

Friends and colleagues in the House said they worried that Trump might be too tough a nut for the Tar Heel pol.

“My worry for Mark is that the president is drawn to him as a person of quality, but now that he has him, he may just chew him up and spit him out the way he has done with so many people he has brought in to work for him,” Rep. Jamie Raskin, a Maryland Democrat, told the paper.

Meadows became Trump’s fourth chief of staff since taking the job over from Mick Mulvaney at the end of March.

This is odd coming from the normally fair to Trump New York Post. But note it’s the New York Times (and AP) originally “reporting.” And the one “worried” source on the record is a Democrat one.

I’m pretty sure Jeff Sessions cried every night.

If I had to live in Washington, I’d cry a lot too—although it helps me better to cuss.

Reps for the White House denied these reports. That doesn’t prevent the NYT or AP from reporting it or the Post for regurgitating the fake news.

Am I wrong, hard-hearted, cruel, [insert your favorite perjorative here] for thinking there are far-too many crying men in America at a time when we need strength, courage and fortitude to lead us out of the darkness we were led into by the “experts” and politicians? I know even strong men cry ... but tears are not what’s needed right now. (Just a little frustrated this morning ... although nowhere near the point of tearing up.)

What source is more reliable than the NYT?

Give me a break. This is a hit piece from the Slimes. Yes, I’m surprised the NY Post is repeating it.

Mark Meadows is a very strong Christian. Very prayerful. A real Man of God who spends time with The Lord on his knees daily will have a heart that is moved by real people hurting or unjustly wronged. That’s different from a sniveling wimpering weak-kneed man who has no moral compass burning inside.

Real men of God cry. Real men of God have compassion. But also real men of God get angry at wickedness and have Righteous Indignation and will fight to the death for Liberty and what is Good and Right.

The waterworks took place at least twice during meetings with White House staff and in at least one case was witnessed by Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner.

Kushner (or somebody working for him or close to him) is talking to the Times?

And trying to get Meadows fired?

Not good.

This appears to be a lamely sourced tidbit (I traced it back to Raw News then to ABC, but not the the walled NYT) used to write up a criticism of President Trump and his style and everything else about him.

Mark has never come off as backing away from a fight and not being able to amply defend himself against the Dems and MSM.
If he shed a tear once or twice, shows he’s got a heart.

The AssPress is probably the worst anti-Trump outlet that exists. I haven’t seen a single article from them that isn’t slanted, dripping with venom and twisted, and unlike CNN, most local “news” outlets and papers carry the AssPress’ propaganda.

Nothing to be ashamed of. Even “Iron Mike” Tyson cried after having sex. Something to do with the pepper spray.

If crying makes it easier to get rid of deep-staters, I hardly care if the tears are real or not.
