I don't know if we should count our chickens before they hatch. 45% of the people in the country will vote for anyone who isn't Donald Trump. If the economy hasn't revived before the election and people can be persuaded that it is Trump's fault, Biden could win. Of course vote-by-mail will help if that becomes widespread.

I still think Trump will be re-elected but I don't think we can take it for granted, even if Biden is the Democrats' nominee.

Not taking anything for granted, and not saying that it’s some kind a slam dunk for Trump... yes, it’s always difficult and the Dems cheat etc etc. BUT what I am saying is that Joe Biden is just about the weakest possible candidate they could be running and that Trump could have as an opponent. Are the American people really willing to turn the keys over to an old man who’s so obviously cognitively impaired? Hillary Clinton was dislikable, and a lot of people not just Republicans/conservatives thought she was a b—ch, but, my gosh, at least she wasn’t in the throes of severe dementia. Joe B should be in a dementia care facility, not the White House. At this point, I’m mainly afraid that his candidacy is some sort of DNC hoax (which everyone but Biden is privy to) and that at some point this summer they’ll pull the plug on him and replace him with Hillary or Michelle Obama or John Kerry or who-the-hell-knows-who-else.
