A new report has revealed how vulnerable voting by mail can be. It should alarm all who are pushing for all-mail elections: Based on federal data from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission, millions of mail ballots were never counted as completed votes.
According to the commissions 2016 report, for example, more mail ballots were misdirected and unaccounted for than the margin of votes between Hillary Clinton and Donald J. Trump. She had 2.9 million more votes, yet 6.5 million ballots were misdirected or unaccounted for by the states. In other words, for every vote that Hillary won over the eventual president nationally, more than twice as many mail ballots disappeared or went to the wrong addresses.
The data demonstrate the danger of putting the presidential election into the hands of the U.S. Postal Service, as well as the problems with inaccurate and out-of-date voter registration lists.
An analysis by the Public Interest Legal Foundation of federal election survey data draws a startling picture for any policymaker or stressed bureaucrat daring to look: 32 million mail ballots effectively disappeared, went to the wrong house, or were rejected since 2012. This includes all-mail voting states like Oregon and Washington, as well as absentee ballots in other states.
Taking into account the 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018 federal general elections, 28.3 million mail ballots disappeared after officials gave them to the U.S. Postal Service. There are numerous problems to point fingers at and many explanations as to what happened to these ballots, but the bottom line is simple: tens of millions of ballots were lost in the mail voting system on a scale not seen at polling places.

Wife says “Why’s THAT!?”
Because of all the “communications” redirected to Democrat purpose in days of yore the Postal Service was the first. Any of us with age/years showing on our wrinkled faces have seen it over the many years. Might have taken some time to recognize it, but we saw it.

Oh they were probably votes for Republican candidates...oh wait...what am I thinking?
I would never vote by mail unless there was no other option. I would never vote early because it gives the dems an idea of how much they need to cheat.
Voting should be held only on election day. Absentee ballots should only be issued to people that can show they are physically unable to go to the booth, will be overseas on election day or otherwise provable reason they can not vote on election day. If more booths are needed, put them in place.
Voter rolls should be purged ever 4 or 5 years. Registration should only be allowed up to 90 days before an election unless you can prove you relocated. Voter ID card with security features and photo ID should be required to cast a vote. Violations need to be prosecuted with severe punishments. I am not sure if we have ever had a true and honest election since George Washington and maybe not that one either.
I couldn’t agree more, FRiend.
You’re putting your vote in the hands of a bureaucracy that in many areas of the country is totally run by Dems and there’s no way in the world to know if your vote was counted or even reached its destination.
Voting in person is more than casting your ballot. It is a formal ritual, much like a religious act such as the mass or Passover meal, that reconnects and affirms your connection to our American way of life and government.
Too many of those who reside in our land have lost that feeling we call patriotism. The connection to government many have is when the public assistance check comes or the local firemen show up to offer to change the battery in the smoke detector in their rent assisted dwelling.
Say NO to going to a mail in vote.
It’s not “failure” it is willful and deliberate cheating by the rats. They will “lose” just enough votes in just the right zip codes to make the difference.

In California in Ventura County youve always been able to call Registrars office to see if your absentee ballot was counted. Starting with 2019 primary you can track your ballot from receipt to count via their web site. It worked.
Purging roles is a worse can of worms.
