I don’t understand the legal process, when someone requests a new trial, and provides evidence to back up their request, that the same Judge who oversaw the sham trial, is then allowed to decide whether a new trial will be granted. It seems like a stacked deck, not a fair hearing that would lead to an unbiased decision.

Exactly. Amy Berman Jackson trial was miss handled she clearly can’t be the judge that decided if the trial was miss handled
