Have we defeated the virus?
Not exactly. Viruses rise and burn out in a natural cycle as they ALWAYS HAVE (Bill Gates, Zeke Emmanuel and the rest of the “hide in the basement till vaccine” crowd).
The virus will still be out there and people will still get sick and die.
BUT...we have achieved our initial objective of managing the curve beyond any catastrophic crash in our health care system. The only realistically achievable objective there ever was.
So it’s Mission Accomplished and Let’s Roll!
Agreed! The goal was never to stop every death, but to avoid the hospital system from collapsing. Now they are shifting the goal posts to say that ‘every life matters’ so we cannot risk any lives by opening two quickly.
