OK, you and TexasGator can explain WHY they are doing this?

The test tells IF you have had the disease in the past (maybe).
It doesn’t say if you are currently sick.
It doesn’t keep you off the plain.

So, please explain the rationale for doing this? Is it solely to make ignorant people feel good, that the airline is doing SOMETHING? It makes zero sense to me.

I look forward to your elucidation.

LOL!

From your post!

“We are working on plans to scale up testing capabilities in the future and extend it to other flights,” said Adel Al Redha, Emirates Chief Operating Officer, in the statement. “This will enable us to conduct on-site tests and provide immediate confirmation for Emirates passengers traveling to countries that require COVID-19 test certificates.”

There are a lot more transmittable diseases than CV. Why not test for all of them??
