Former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino warned that Americans could rise up if federal and state governments continue to strip them of their freedom in response to the coronavirus pandemic.
It seems a historic crisis has led many of our leaders to forget the phrase, Give me liberty, or give me death!
And that, according to Bongino, could lead to civil disobedience amongst the people.
200-plus years of liberty [and] freedom are being flushed down the toilet almost overnight, he warned. Civil disobedience is about to make a bold comeback if something doesnt change, STAT.
Bonginos message was accompanied by a link to a story about a 12-year-old girl who was shooting baskets by herself in Little Rock, Arkansas, only to have local officials remove the hoop.
The Constitution is NOT a suggestion! he would later tweet.
But for some, it apparently is.
Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer is facing calls for a recall vote after she issued a stay-at-home order that extended to private gatherings, regardless of size or relation.
Cops in Kentucky and Mississippi have been ticketing church-goers, thus forcing them to be quarantined for 14 days.
Florida and New Jersey have taken to using drones to break up gatherings that may be in violation of their social distancing edicts.
A man in Colorado was arrested in front of his daughter for daring to play catch in a nearly empty park.
Even residents in a California town have been fuming over an order to wear masks the moment they leave their homes.

Yes, I thought that as I was typing.
The Left makes it sound like Bongino is a radical for saying that, but that is an essential tenet of man.
Not all men, but there are men who will not be slaves. The question is always where that rubicon is, where there is no going back once someone has been pushed too hard.
It is in different places for different people.
It is wise to remember when you make a practice of pushing people, that people have different tolerances.
If food supplies get short, that’s when you’ll see masses of people with pitchforks demanding heads on pikes. The great majority of people only give lip service to freedom until they’re personally affected. Most really like government hand-outs even if they come with totalitarian overtones.
I think Trump finally realized that Fauci bamboozled him and he is really damned pissed.
Not if, but when.
People just need to practice civil disobedience and start opening their businesses again. I will solicit those businesses. To heck with protesting. What are the police going to do? Arrest everybody? This is an unconstitutional power grab because states do not have the authority to restrict peoples movement and order business closures and martial law has not been passed by the Feds.
Give me liberty or give me flu-like symptoms!
I’d like to see widespread rioting all across the country with the targets being govt buildings and the nazi’s inside them.
100% agree
Fauci started out thinking he could do his dr thing under Trump.. he talked Trump up. Then he started talking to the left... he must have thought the wind had shifted to the left.... then he came back to talking more like a conservative.. back tracking and losing that “power take all look”...
in other words, Fauci goes with whatever is the thing to follow.. He may be a good doctor... if so, he’d better stay in that field and off TV... TV seems to do something to people.
The demonstrations are already starting
the pressure will be on The stupid moron Democrats who want to tank this economy (.conjinue to)
I second that
Civil war can’t start soon enough
Civil war can’t start soon enough
Great idea
We need to print these as posters to put everywhere
I don’t have a printer at home....
Well done, Bookman.
I think Dan is correct, the authoritarian Democrat Governors are waaay overstepping their bounds.
