EXCLUSIVE: COVID-19 originated in a Wuhan laboratory not as a bioweapon, but as part of China's effort to demonstrate that its efforts to identify and combat viruses are equal to or greater than the capabilities of the United States, multiple sources who have been briefed on the details of early actions by China's government and seen relevant materials tell Fox News.
This may be the "costliest government coverup of all time," one of the sources said.
The sources believe the initial transmission of the virus was bat-to-human, and that "patient zero" worked at the laboratory, then went into the population in Wuhan. Asked by Fox News' John Roberts about the reporting, President Trump remarked at Wednesday's coronavirus press briefing, "More and more we're hearing the story...we are doing a very thorough examination of this horrible situation."
Documents detail early efforts by doctors at the lab and early efforts at containment. The Wuhan wet market initially identified as a possible point of origin never sold bats, and the sources tell Fox News that blaming the wet market was an effort by China to deflect blame from the laboratory, along with the country's propaganda efforts targeting the U.S. and Italy.
U.S. Embassy officials warned in January 2018 about inadequate safety at the Wuhan Institute of Virology lab and passed on information about scientists conducting risky research on coronavirus from bats, The Washington Post reported Tuesday...…
Additionally, the sources tell Fox News the World Health Organization (WHO) was complicit from the beginning in helping China cover its tracks.

So China covered up the origin a pandemic and the pandemic itself for a month just to hide the fact that it was trying to compete with the west in research to combat viruses?

My thoughts:
1. Chinese new year celebrations are in January and probably millions of Chinese throughout the world return to the homeland going back to their foreign homes later. Did many carry the virus beck with them? You betcha!
2. January 14 - A big celebration (name unrecalled) was held in Wuhan with 40,000 “families” in attendance. No doubt many came from other countries. Did many carry the virus back with them? You betcha!
3. When Wuhan was finally quarantined in late January, it was said several million of the residents had already fled the city. Where did they go? Did many carry the virus with them? You betcha!
Certainly the CCP government knew they were contaminating the world with this caronavirus. The questions are:
1. Did the spread occur by accident and got out of hand.
2. Did the CCP allow it to spread on purpose so as to emerge on the other side as the dominant world power (as well as the other communist countries - Russia and NK who were not affected by the virus)
3. If #2 is true, should caronavirus be classified as a Weapon of Mass Destruction?

Most Americans are starting to get the idea that Communist China did this intentionally.
It would explain the reaction of almost every government in the world. Their react was based on genuine fear. So I suspect they know something that they haven't told us (yet).
Maybe we should counter attack with another germ to give to China? Maybe do something radical like give out Bibles in Chinese? Maybe sign new treaty with Taiwan and Hong Kong. My idea. On west coast build a great big stature of the Lady with the torch of Freedom the Chinese Students built in Peking—before they were gunned down and rolled over by tanks. That would piss off Xi and his comrades. How about flying the flag of Free Tibet? Trump should invite the Dali Lamba to the White House? Time to get in your face with China.
I’m sure they are on to more than just the Epoch Times video. DR. Mikovitz states there is not way for viruses to have that same attribute (S-proteins) as the SARS virus naturally. She comes on around the 12:40 mark in the video.
