Everyone, outside of Hitler himself, despised Heydrich. One reportedly said, “They finally got that Jew Bastard” when they heard he died.

Surprising. As he was such a dedicated Nazi I would have thought it would have been the opposite.

There were always rumors about Heydrich’s background.

They also knew that Heydrich had all the dirt on everyone in the party.. Hitler even told Himmler that he wouldn’t survive 24 hours if anything happened to Heydrich.

Some think Hitler would have designated Heydrich as his replacement. That’s how much Hitler thought of him.
