A Common Misconception About The Origin of Spygate – Political Surveillance In The Era of President Obama
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | April 15, 2020 | sundance

With the release of recent transcripts and the declassification of material from within the IG report on the Carter Page FISA, there is a common misconception about why the intelligence apparatus began investigating the Trump campaign.  In this outline we hope to provide some deep source material that will explain the origin, and specifically why the those inside the Intelligence Community began using Confidential Human Sources.

During the time-frame of December 2015 through April 2016 the NSA database was being exploited by contractors within the intelligence community doing unauthorized searches.

On March 9, 2016, oversight personnel doing a review of FBI system access were alerted to thousands of unauthorized search queries of specific U.S. persons within the NSA database.

NSA Director Mike Rogers was made aware.

Subsequently NSA Director Rogers initiated a full compliance review of the system to identify who was doing the searches; & what searches were being conducted.

The further we get from the events, the clearer the perspective becomes.

This is not the first "time line" I've read on the Spygate mess, but it makes a compelling case of the origin of all of this. Obama's desk.

When I was reading the article I came to comments about "Daniel Richman". I could not remember that name, but when I searched for it, this is what I saw on the FBI "Vault" file:

The "complicit media" is not mentioned directly in this article. But they are also clearly still supporting what Obama put into place.

Is this infection any less damaging to the nation than the Corona Virus? Has the Virus silenced discussion of this infectious disease?

Wow. That is damning! Sundance is a master of timelines and dot connecting.. Institutional lack of candor? Clear abuse of process and system for political gain. I detest these people.

Anything with an 85% abuse level cannot be reformed. It must be shutdown, deleted, eliminated.

Agree. I think Admiral Rogers did just that. He ended the type of query they were using completely.

Admiral Rogers has acted very responsibly throughout this.

Yes, I detest them too.

They are high level criminals. And deserve punishment for what they have done to the nation.

And the arrests start ........ crickets.

It is known, by any person with a brain, that there is more than enough to start arrests. I am growing irritated of these articles that basically tell us a) what we already know; and b) that nothing is being done.

If there was a crime, arrest those responsible. If no arrests are going to be made, prepare for the worst.

My read on this at this time is, the DOJ is trying to decide the “intent” to commit a crime. ?? Yes, I know they just don’t want to destroy the whole of the FBI and the DOJ. Head shake.

I’ve seen a lot of this before. More pieces have been proven since. It’s not all tied together as absolute proof, but enough is to conclude this is the gist of it. More stuff around the edges has come to light as well, with the Horowitz report and other releases.

It is certainly becoming clearer, but the resolve to punish the actors in the Coup has not surfaced yet.
