During a press conference on Monday, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat, boasted about the lowering rate of novel coronavirus cases in the state while seemingly taking a jab at the faithful.
“The number is down because we brought the number down,” he told reporters Monday. “God did not do that. Faith did not do that. Destiny did not do that.”
“A lot of pain and suffering did that,” the Democrat continued. “That’s how it works. It’s math. And if you don’t continue to do that, you’re going to see that number go back up. And that will be a tragedy if that number goes back up.”

Saying God did not or did something is not a place I would go.
That remark was not necessary. Cuomo seems to like stomping down hard on people of faith. Maybe he thinks HE is the most powerful one. Il Duce Jr.?

Yeah, it was mostly the design of the human immunological system that did the heavy lifting.
Cuomo is a USELESS POS!! He could have started ALL of the patients on the malaria drug cocktail when symptoms first started he chose not to let the Dr.s do that he just recently let his state start using the drugs!! MANY folks would have been prevented from hospital care and vents AND death!!

If talking slowly is supposed to be an indication of intelligence then southerners are Einstein’s.
I moved to the south a decade ago and was initially taken aback by the slow southern drawl.
I have long since gotten used to it and, once you discard the liberal stereotype you realize there is wisdom in many people no matter their place of birth or residence.
And, speaking of stereotyping. I have met since moving to the south a prejudice I do not quite understand. It seems that very many southern people do not consider Florida, the southernmost contiguous state a southern state.
This one still baffles me.

No Cuomo has ever been that great.
He's not into math. He couldn't even honestly count the number of ventilators he had stockpiled, when he kept saying there was a shortage. I bet the a-hole has never even tapped into that stockpile.
No baffle at all.
