I’ve said it before. President Trump would have to be an imbecile to fire Fauci, and Trump is no imbecile.
1. Fauci said today that May 1 was too soon to reopen the country and Trump just said it will start to happen sooner.
2. Press conference got started an hour late and when it did Fauci wasn’t there.
3. When asked about Fauci’s remarks Trump muttered “nobody knows what he said”.
