I know of Miss Molly. I never thought I would miss her raising my blood pressure, but sadly I do. Barbara Jordan along with Ann Richards had better insight into Texas politics than I. Now at my age, I think both parties are about the same. Although I will never vote socialist, I'm not to happy with the deficit.

I’m not in Texas, but Nashville. Our local leftist rag, The Tennessean, hired a Ivins disciple to be a columnist. His name was Tim Chavez. They thought he’d be spewing a bunch of typical racist, La Raza, Stalinist drivel you’d come to expect from the moonbats. Instead, Chavez began moving towards the center (to the paper’s horror), and when he developed cancer (leukemia, as it turned out), they used it as an excuse to fire him. He died two years later and they pretended like he never existed. Classy folks.
