Am I right that it appears slightly over 1000 new deaths only yesterday to today?

I know one day is not a trend, but in the least I think the numerical increase has stopped. No longer almost 2000 new deaths a day.

Saddly, worldmeters shows today at over 2,300 so far in the USA.

And NYC has gone back through their records and added another ~3500 since early March.
