Jury still out. Right now, US CFR is about 4.6%. Worldwide, about 6.2%.
It's nowhere near that because thousands have had the virus and didn't even know and/or went to a hospital and got tested.
Too many unknowns. Deaths are probably being overreported as Covis, total cases are underreported. I like to play with numbers, I just don't think today's total deaths divided by todays total cases is accurate.
Looking for insights.
Absolutely right. Too many people keep posting these articles trying to pretend this thing isn't dangerous, and we don't have nearly enough information to confirm some of these outlandish claims.
We know this thing is dangerous, because a lot of people are dying from it. Too many out there are just wishing it away, and they shouldn't be taken seriously.
What is CFR?
“Right now, US CFR is about 4.6%. Worldwide, about 6.2%.”
Why you gotta be like that. The Flubros gotta flubro.
You’re messing up their entire thread with reality.
Worldwide numbers have too much noise (e.g. Iran, China). Take US numbers and remove the ghetto and you get about 2%. Still nothing to sneeze at, but a lot of those are medicaid nursing homes.

no one will have a clue as to the actual fatality RATE until the rate of infection in the general population is determined by random IGG/IGM testing of a statistically significant population ... until then, it’s just guessing ...
