Wonder when some smart attorneys are going to read the FCC license under which CNN is GRANTED the PRIVILEDGE of broadcasting on our airwaves?
They may find that it stipulates that must broadcast must be in the best interest of the public and that they can not broadcast false information.
I paraphrased that, because its been some time since I READ IT.
I would throw a few bucks to a GoFundMe account to fund that litigation.
BTW CNN is on in all the airports because CNN PAYS the airports to carry them. Since the airports are federally regulated I would assume that this should be put out to bid. Interesting that CNN has gained a monopoly just by buying it. Any lawyers want to weigh in on that?
CNN has no FCC license, nor does it require one. CNN does not broadcast over the airwaves, which are the domain of the FCC, but on cable, over which the federal government has no jurisdiction.
