Monday's WH Press Conference and Coronavirus update - scheduled to start at 5 pm eastern.
It’s fairly routine and almost normal. Few masks. Mostly stocked shelves. Noticeably less air and vehicle traffic.
I am so stocked up that I have little need to shop.
Plus, I have been getting produce from a group buying program on Saturdays at an elementary school. 6 volunteers and me, then a trickle of people show up for food baskets. I am gone by the time the first 5-10 people show up. Laundry baskets are set up at 6 foot intervals just in case... no lines and no waiting. Very healthy food too. 50% fruits and 50% vegetables.

I don’t know about other FReepers, but I can’t watch these briefings anymore.
Until Fauci and Birx are out of the picture, the briefings are nothing but repetitious doses of the same ‘social distancing’ propaganda.
Instead of admitting that their worst-case scenarios were WAY off - and that the economic shutdown was a tragic overreaction - they are perversely doubling down - saying the economic shutdown is what saved the day. Liars!
Sadly, I can hardly stand to listen to the President’s part of these briefings anymore - because he largely supports their bullshit.
I understand that he has no choice, and I love him to death - but I am so sick and tired of that condescending midget and the scarf lady patting us on the heads and telling us what good little social distancers we are, instead of just admitting the models were wrong.
I swear, if I hear the word ‘mitigate’ one more time, I’m going to throw up.
I watch the White House feed on YouTube. It starts when it starts.

Pretty sickening being that so much death is in NJ & NY areas. But the Flubros don’t care. Not a whit for anyone or anything outside their area.
It’s sick. Worse than TDS or the ChiCom Virus.
I’m pretty sure an MD can write a prescription for most any non controlled medication for any purpose they see fit. The only controls they typically operate under are the rules of the clinic, hospital, or other governing board that may oversee their actions, which can vary significantly depending on location, organization size, etc. It’s why some of the best, or worst, doctors are those that have their own clinic with little to no oversight by others.

I read some bullshirt story on Vox trying to explain low numbers in Cal vs high numbers in NYC/NJ areas.
To me it's as simple as public transit and dense housing. But they won't admit the progressive dream sucks in that respect.

What I don’t get is why Rush, who’s an intelligent person, doesn’t see this very obvious difference. To him, the answer is that California got it last year and everyone has “group immunity.” Uh, huh.
