What happened to Andrew Cuomo’s 1100 patients taking hydroxychloroquine?

Doesn’t a clinical trial require a control group? How does one determine the effectiveness of HCQ versus no treatment?

New York & New Jersey can be the control group

Is South Dakota going to follow the Dr. Zelenko cocktail (HCQ, Zinc Sulfate, Azithromycin) and dosing protocol?

Evidently, their lips are sealed.

No idea. But I saw that Brazil recently terminated one of their studies early and from what I saw they were giving MEGA doses of HCQ to severly ill patients like 1.2 g/day (600mg X 2) + azithro. I think their "lower" dose patients were getting 450mg x 2/day. I've read Dr. Zev's dosage but I can't recall offhand, I think he was closer to 400mg/day (200mg/2) with with around 500mg azithro and 200ish zinc.

Brazil terminated the study due to cardiac issues, but from what I read they were trying major doses in very sick patients.

FYI - Here’s Dr. Zelenko’s out-patient treatment regimen, which costs only $12, is as follows:

1. Hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day for 5 days

2. Azithromycin 500mg once a day for 5 days

3. Zinc sulfate 220mg once a day for 5 days

For all those thinking about coming to South Dakota, be aware.

We have horrid winters.
We just got flush toilets.
Electrical grid glitchy.
Lots of manure.
Full of gun toting, bible clutching, deplorable folk.
Polka nites are fun.

In other words think twice before coming and then decide not to.

and we have no helmet laws and no concealed weapon permits needed, so it isn’t safe for you. It’s pretty awful here.

I heard y’all don’t have speed limits there either? Drove through SD years ago on my way to Seattle. You have the most beautiful night sky I’ve ever seen.

“South Dakota is now on my list of states to consider relocation.” [GSWarrior, post 6]

“...South Dakota will be one of the first states bringing itself out of lockdown...” [Candor7, post 7]

Before making any commitments, consider the following:

South Dakota produced George S McGovern, Tom Daschle, Tim Johnson, and a fair number of other liberal Democrats.

South Dakota won’t be coming out of statewide lockdown because there hasn’t been any. Gov Noem has (so far) left it to the discretion of local officials.

No month is entirely free of snow. Blizzards are common. So are high winds. Military personnel assigned here after a tour in Alaska often find winters in South Dakota more trying.

Summers can be dangerously hot and dry. Daily high temperatures frequently exceed 100 degrees Fahrenheit from July through mid-September. Wildland fires can occur at any time - on the High Plains or in the forests.

Meanwhile in neighboring Minnesota, Generalissimo Governor Walz has extended his draconian measures to keep Minnesota in quarantine for another month despite having the Mayo Clinic and University of Minnesota to engage in similar statewide trials.

Gov Noem is a force of nature.

She shut Cavuto down with three words in a Fox Nudes interview.

I have no doubt that South Dakota will be be of the first to open.

Why.

She has enough HCQ to treat 100,000 people. It will be employed statewide.

She really has a pistol, and her application of HCQ will show all other states how its done.

I love South Dakota. They have great warehouse sized fireworks emporiums where you can purchase just about anything. So much black powder in their huge warehouse firework stores that your eyes water when you shop there.

If you get hot or cold just stick a little fire cracker in your pocket.

Yep. I’m from NW Iowa, been in and around many parts of SD for many years. Being from AK now. I can handle snow/blizzards.

Well the years of no speed limit are long gone but Interstate Limit is 80MPH. And yes the air quality is so good that clear nights staring into the heavens are spectacular.
