Acosta is not a journalist. He has no desire to draw out information from Trump and only seeks to prove his point that “orange man bad”. He makes declarative statements followed by leading questions hoping to make news, not break news.

CNN should be embarrassed by him. All journalists should be embarrassed by him.

Much of the press was and remains bad. Only a few like OANN and SOME reporters for WSJ and Fox have been consistent in directing questions for the purpose of eliciting actual information useful to the American Public, while most of the rest were only interested in “gotcha” questions, framed in such manner as the lawyer asking the defendant, “Have you stopped beating your wife? Answer Yes or No!”

As usual with the lefty media you have to look at the ‘negative space’ ie what’s not there.

But when an individual reporter gets skewered by Trump the first time there’s a very large pity party for that reporter. Journalism, Trump’s mean, etc. etc.

Acosta has been doing his tired act for so long he no longer gets these fatuous outpourings of grief from his comrades.

It may also signal that they don’t like him much and that would hardly be a surprise.
