The story only reports that they held “a packed Easter Sunday service,” which I took to mean people congregated together inside of the Church.
I have no objection to people congregating if they’re isolated inside of their cars and listening to the service over loudspeakers. That seems perfectly reasonable and safe. Ditto with on-line church services, which are even better because no one has to leave their houses.
Why are you buying into the totalitarian lockdown propaganda?
If you are so damned afraid of this virus, then lock yourself in the basement.

I think this was a drive-in service, broadcast over AM radio by the pastor to congregants in their cars, and was explicitly allowed by a federal judge.
I suspect you will be at the front of the line when the mayor announces trains to Chinese virus decontamination camps.
I suspect you are one of the busybodies that picked up the “Fink on Your Neighbors” App and you look out your window all day long looking for someone leaving the house without a mask so you can sic the cops on them.

You simply don’t understand varieties of Christianity.
Some varieties insist that they must meet because of verses that say they must.
You can argue with their interpretations, but they are allowed in America to believe differently.
They believe that they must follow God in this. This is one of those instances when they must render to God the things that are God’s.
