Be nice if the senate made even the slightest effort to defend Trump. Lip service with backstabbing behind the scenes. Where is the investigation into fisa on Trump campaign, transition and actual presidency? Where is the investigation into the ICIG framing Trump, where is the ivestigation into the obvious corruption of the biden’s? Do not exist. Time for the gopE to go the way of the whig party.
Senate rules should be changed to state that upon any House impeachment of the POTUS, the House Managers have one 8-hour day to make their preliminary case. And the POTUS has one day of rebuttal. Then a vote is required for the Senate to agree to actually hear the full House case. But that vote is subject to filibuster, and requires 60 votes.That should shut Schiff up!
