I remember Jack Anderson on Art Bell promoting a career biography, which included the JFK assassination circus.
FWIW, Anderson said that the Castro brothers were tired of the Kennedy brothers trying to kill them, so Fidel baited the Mob to do it by “promising” to return seized casinos to Mob-operated status.
