Hubby and I listen to Steve Bannon’s daily pandemic podcasts.
He has had excellent guests, experts in med and economic fields.
His message today was that the MSM liars will push POTUS into a corner....by saying that if he opens the country too soon....you know, before the “experts” say it’s okay to, that loss of lives (from CV-19) will be on POTUS’ hands.
I told hubby....it’s like THEY’RE getting their way, then....if this shut down continues into fall. Then I said, No wonder they’re (Fauxchi & Dr Scarf) are so giddy :(
My thought was that POTUS should’ve (I hate coulda, shouldas, woudlas) come out the day we first heard that the models were wrong, and suggested that relying on faulty models is not acceptable...and, therefore, I’ve instructed VP to bring in....XYZ experts...and, get new, non-DS docs/experts into the task force.
I just don’t trust these two....and, now....the University of Washington (?) guy, who designed their flawed model is coming out saying that they used MANY models....as in don’t blame ME.
Water is now under that bridge.

You’re not too much of a downer. The overriding goal is always to get rid of the BadOrangeMan, and the ongoing shutdown with the goal posts being continually moved is a perfect tool to slam the economy and by extension his reelection chances.
I don’t trust those two either but we know how POTUS works...he often praises those he knows are secretly stabbing him in the back. It’s infuriating, I know.
1. Trump is a dunce and is getting rolled; or
2. Trump knows CV is overblown, but is going along with the charade all the while acting like a dunce getting rolled. Reason - he now holds (semi) dictatorial power with neither congressional nor judicial oversight, allowing him to impose/enjoy:
- border controls - travel restrictions - moderated sanctuary states - destroyed 'illegals first' policy - renewed 2A adoption - re-homed domestic production - import tariffs - lower oil prices - undeclared cartel operations - $8-10T to invest/re-direct US economy - China sanctions/repatriation
3. Trump knows CV a bio-terror weapon. As such, he needs time/space to allow proper development of emergency counter-measures. These include, but are not necessarily limited to vaccine(s), prophylactic measures, beefed up domestic production & supply lines, etc.
Assuming most/many of the better posters @ FR are among the intelligentsia, it is therefore our responsibility to ensure the public is sufficiently stampeded in a buffalo run to achieve a lock down in cases #2 & #3. (Because nationalists win in either situation.)
Instead of scoffing at the sheep wearing masks, we should be engaged in opinion shaping activities and encouraging conformance with this type of behavior modification to further the patriot agenda.
Another scenario .... Trump is handling Fauci, Birx, et al, as he does Xi. (”I like and respect them, etc., but ...”)
He is pinning the shut decision on their agencies. Trump gladly hands over the mic to Fauci and Birx when crony MSM asks about ever-changing projections and models. Meanwhile, Trump talks of program cuts/defunding and their favoritism towards China.
Some glimmers of light, IMO:
-No tests for all US citizens
-Manage hot spots and micro hot spots if flare ups
-“Opening Our Country’ task force announcement
-Governors make state decisions, per Constitution
